Theophylact’s canon of St. Kliment of Ohrid

Object of the article is one of the Canons for St. Kliment of Ochrid in the Byzantine hymnographic cycle of the saint. This is the Canon, 8 mode, which in the Service from Menaion from Struga (NBKM 541, p. 32b) is marked as the work of Theophylact, archbishop of Ohrid. Special attention is paid to the discussion of the authorship of the Canon. The article supports the thesis that Theophylact is the creator of this Canon. There are also presented the thematic and poetic features of this hymnographic composition.
