Euphemisms in the Traditional Bulgarian Culture and the Semantic Opposition One’s Own and the Foreign

The study examines the cases when euphemisms are used in place of words that are forbidden (taboos) in the Bulgarian traditional culture: some animal denominations such as: ladybug (Coccinella septempunctata) and snake (Serpentes).
