The personal pronouns in the speech of Bulgarian catholic in Serbian Banat

The main topic of the paper is to discuss the system of the pronouns in the dialect of Bulgarian Paulicians in Serbian Banat. The article also represents the clitic doubling construction in this dialect and its function in the information structure of the sentence – a syntactic tool for topicalisation. A conclusion about the closeness of the personal pronouns system in the dialect with standard and colloquial Bulgarian is made. The analyses presented here base on a corpus collected during the fieldwork on the Ancient Bulgarian culture in multiethnic context (traditions, language, folklore of Bulgarian Paulicians from Serbian Banat) project, developed by a team from the Faculty of Slavic Studies at Sofia University.
