The study deals with the possibility offered by the Internet as one of the modern means, which makes it possible to communicate in unlimited time and space. The object of research is the specific character of communication on the Internet as a realization of the communicative function of language.
The place of derivational processes and their results is sought in and explained by the variety of stylistic devices determined by the different characteristics of those who communicate on the Internet (including their age, education , interests, attitudes to public and social life, etc.).
